"Breathing fiber":Bamboo fiber
Bamboo fiber is the world's fifth largest natural fiber after cotton, wool, silk, hemp. As a new green and low-carbon material, bamboo fiber has excellent performance, sufficient raw material sources, renewable and natural degradation, and a wide range of downstream applications. It is also an important basic material for the future bioeconomy and sustainable development.
Current main uses:
Bamboo fiber yarn is used for clothing fabrics, MATS, sheets, curtains, scarves, etc., such as using the method of blending with vinylon to produce light clothing fabrics.
It is blended with cotton, wool, hemp, silk and chemical fibers for weaving or knitting to produce various types of woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. Woven fabrics can be used to make curtains, jackets, casual clothes, suits, shirts, sheets and towels, bath towels, etc. Knitted fabrics are suitable for making underwear, undershirts, T-shirts, socks, etc.
Bamboo cotton blended yarn with less than 30% bamboo fiber is more suitable for underwear, socks, and medical care products.
It is also used in the manufacture of paper towels. In recent years, healthy and environmentally friendly paper towels of bamboo fiber as raw materials have begun to appear.
